Nikol Kallinteris

Nikoleta Kallinteris began her yogic journey in 2006 through the practice of Ashtanga Yoga — a doorway that opened her to the deeper wisdom of yoga and its timeless teachings. Since 2010, she has shared this path with others, inviting students to cultivate body awareness, mindful reflection, and self-embodiment. Her offerings arise from a lived understanding of yoga, nurtured through the depth of her own practice.

Driven by a deep curiosity for life’s quiet mysteries, Nikol independently continues her study of sound therapy, physical vitality, spiritual discernment, and the enduring wisdom of contemplative traditions, such as the philosophy of Yoga, Zen, Buddhism, Taoism, and more.

Lay down and immerse yourself in a journey of sound and vibration. No effort is required. The Gong is a powerful tool in restoring the body, mind and spirit on all levels. It is known as the most sublime instrument of the Yogis, and is described in ancient texts as the sound of the vibrant energy core of the universe; this energy is responsible for the creation of all living things. Our bodies are inherently made up of harmonious vibrations, and if the natural rhythm is disturbed we experience disharmony and discord that may over time lead to imbalance, illness or dis-ease. The vibrations created through the gong influence our brain waves by awakening our dermatomes (the nerves that relay sensation to the entire body), this encourages the body to re-tune into harmony and thereby heal and restore itself through the application of sound frequencies. The brain reaches deep relaxation specifically through delta and theta brain wave states, which are the slowest brain waves in humans. This meditative state provides the space to process and resolve deeper thoughts, emotions, blockages and forms of physical dis-ease. The sound waves emitted through the gong transcend the boundaries of the mind and may temporarily distort your senses to feel as though you are being merged into shapes, patterns, colors and waves of sounds as specific areas of the body are stimulated. Some sounds may have an unsettling effect, while other sounds may be pleasant. It is important to not disrupt the passage of this current and just breathe deeply as it passes through you.
