Gentle Yoga for Strength & Mobility

This class is taught by:

Nikol Kallinteris

Nikoleta Kallinteris began her yogic journey in 2006 through the practice of Ashtanga Yoga — a doorway that opened her to the deeper wisdom of yoga and its timeless teachings. Since 2010, she has shared this path with others, inviting students to cultivate body awareness, mindful reflection, and self-embodiment. Her offerings arise from a lived understanding of yoga, nurtured through the depth of her own practice.

Driven by a deep curiosity for life’s quiet mysteries, Nikol independently continues her study of sound therapy, physical vitality, spiritual discernment, and the enduring wisdom of contemplative traditions, such as the philosophy of Yoga, Zen, Buddhism, Taoism, and more.

Tammy Daly

Hello! My name is Tammy Daly and I am originally from Long Island, NY where I taught yoga for 15 years at the same studio. I moved to The Poconos in 2019 and love the tranquility here. I can't imagine not having yoga in my life and was happy to join the community at Yoga House.
I started out as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor but soon found out that my passion is yoga and pilates. I have worked with clients with extreme physical limitations and injuries to athletes throughout my career.

My certifications are from AFAA and I participate in continuing education every year. I love finding new adaptations to familiar poses and letting the body find it's 'happy spot' within poses. I enjoy using hand mudras and poses to open the chakras and let the energy flow.

My favorite pose is pigeon and the motto I try to live by is 'tranquil abiding' and finding the balance.
I strive to help others to integrate total mind, body and soul wellness into their yoga practice and feel the best they can!

Thank you and hope to see you on the mat soon!

Lauren Pilgermayer

Lauren Pilgermayer discovered her passion for power vinyasa yoga in 2013 and began her training in 2015. Since then, she has led both power vinyasa classes as well as guided meditations and has also led and facilitated multiple teacher trainings in Philadelphia. She loves the power of connecting and the joy that can be re-discovered on the mat wherever you are in your practice.
Explore a gentle approach in building strength and mobility through basic yoga poses, repetitious movements, and restorative stretches. This class is ideal for body maintenance as it addresses the whole body and is suitable for individuals with difficulty getting up and down as most of the class is done seated or laying down, with some standing poses. Participants will also gain better body awareness and develop a more focused and centered state of being while learning how to breathe deeply and become present in the moment.
