COME HOME TO YOURSELF

MORNING GLORY YOGA - All Level Yoga Class

This class is taught by:

Jill Gregory

Jill Gregory, 200 CYT, Hatha Yoga, began her yogic journey about 10 years ago around the same time her youngest son began the curious and active transition into toddlerhood. What began as a means to find inner peace, relaxation and endurance to lovingly and patiently accept the challenge of raising a very energetic toddler, soon became a life passion. The very first time she stepped onto her mat, she knew it was going to be a place to call “home”. Home to her spirit and to a better understanding. After months of a consistent practice, she began to see the physical benefits of a regular practice and almost by surprise began internalizing the bits and pieces of yoga philosophy taught in class. She soon found herself applying those philosophies off the mat. A seed was planted. After years of practice, she knew she wanted to teach, and received her certification at Sundari Yoga in Stroudsburg, PA. She soon realized that teaching yoga was so much more than guiding students through a litany of poses and explanations, but about drawing forth an inner strength that is already within them. Teaching for Jill became a divine opportunity to be present the first time a student becomes aware at their ability to reach beyond self-imposed limitations; to watch as they become familiar with their authenticity, their wholeness. A newly born self that each time they step off their yoga mat and into their life, they take the tools of breath work and poses to cultivate a life of peace, joy and passion.

As Jill continues her personal journey, she uses the practice of meditation and stillness to listen to the voice of her soul for guidance. She is consistently called to the study of energy and its relationship in healing the body, physically, spiritually and mentally. She is a certified Reiki practitioner and often uses her healing touch and intuition in her classes. She is an avid reader and continues to educate herself through self-study as well as attending workshops at Kripalu as well as embarking on spiritual journeys around the country.

Jill prides herself on integrating an energetic power flow class with the ability to get students to stay present and tune in to the mind-body connection. Her personal goal in all of her classes is to get students to walk off their mats, not with just a great work-out, but a deeper sense of who they are, with all of their strengths and vulnerabilities, and to instill a sense of community amongst her students, all while having a little bit of fun!

Her offerings arise from a lived understanding of yoga, nurtured through the depth of her own practice.

Valerie Klass

Valarie Klass, 200 CYT in Hatha Yoga from Sundari Yoga, was introduced to yoga in 2008 through her Tang So Do Instructor, which awakened the idea of a kinder, gentler way of life and so she made the necessary changes to pursue her new path. She is filled with happiness and light now that she has found her passion in life. Yoga has gifted her the balance she has always searched for in her very busy life and career, as well as the many more rewards that come with the practice and building a strong connection with oneself. Valarie's approach brings focus to the Bhandas and engagement; inviting students to connect, direct and utilize the energy locks within the body and experience the power and essence each pose has to offer. Students can expect to feel clearer and higher states of consciousness.
Valarie is honored to teach and bring together community through yoga; developing new friendships through the amazing people she meets. Valarie plans to teach yoga part time in her retirement and spread love and joy to all who welcome it into their lives. She is currently working as a Regional Manager in Health Care and is registered in both Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound.

Gina Cerbone

Gina Cerbone, 200 E-RYT, began her yogic journey in 2010 as she developed a strong connection to her Vinyasa practice which led her to a teacher training program with Delia Quigley and Denise Kay in July 2012.
For Gina, the Vinyasa quality of "moving mediation," coupled with her daily seated meditation, allows her to center herself when her world feels out of balance and lacking in stillness. Gina feels that Yoga has opened her eyes to see the person within, who she really is. Her practice helped her to find herself at a time when she felt lost. Gina believes that human nature is an important aspect of teaching yoga and a path to gain insight into others as well as one’s self by giving and receiving (sharing) the gift of yoga.

Gina has studied with the following teachers Doug Swensen and Kino MacGregor. She continues to grow and learn from teachers, workshops, and, as a life-long learner, her own self-study.

She has completed trainings and certifications in Yin Yoga, Chair yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. She continues to grow as she completes her Advanced 300 Hour Teacher Training with Nancy Candea.

Gina holds her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Saint Joseph’s University. She has completed her Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition (Cum Laude) at New York Chiropractic College in 2017.

She started her own business in nutrition called Spoonful of OM and guides in giving power back to the individual. She uses her many talents and works with her clients to introduce three main modalities to help them feel empowered happy and healthy; yoga, customized nutrition consultation, and essential oils.
