Nikol Kallinteris

Nikoleta Kallinteris is the Founder, Director and Owner of Yoga House Stroudsburg Inc., established 2011.

 

She began her yogic journey in 2006 through Ashtanga Yoga, a doorway that opened her to the deeper wisdom of yoga and its timeless teachings. Since 2010, she has held space for students to cultivate self-embodied awareness and mindfulness. Her insight comes from the depth of her own practice and a lived understanding of integrating this work into daily life.

 

Formal Training:

500-hour Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers (ASFYT 1–3)

One of the most common challenges of meditation is to quiet the mind and body. Sound meditation is highly effective for individuals who experience difficulty in getting centered. This form of meditation induces an effortless trance upon the receiver, allowing access into deep meditative states. The subtle vibration created through sound resonance has the ability to disperse thoughts and relax the body.
 

This session includes the soothing and cleansing tones of various instruments such as metal and crystal singing bowls, rattles, chimes, drum, gong, rain and thunder. 

 

Sound Meditation is scientifically proven to restore and balance the physical, mental, emotional and energetic realms; promoting health and well-being. One does not need to be consciously aware of the effects of sound resonance, as it happens naturally and without effort. The vibration of sound waves penetrates the energy field and attunes the individual with the universal flow of pure energy. Sound vibration has been used for centuries through various cultures around the world to invoke our inherent ability for transformation on all levels.

* Pillows, bolsters, blankets, mats or chairs will be available for your comfort.
* Please dress warmly as there is a tendency to get cooler through this meditation.
* Suitable for all individuals; soothing to those with imbalance, illness or long term disease.

* No need to sign up in advance. Please arrive early to avoid disruption. Door will be looked when session begins.
