* HOW TO VINYASA * PARTNER YOGA ALIGNMENT

* Limited to 20 people - Come alone or bring a partner (Ex: your spouse, sibling, friend, etc).

This class offers an opportunity to learn how to move through Vinyasa (Sun Salutations A & B).
"Vinyasa" often refers to a popular sequence of poses which is offered in many flow yoga classes.
We will clarify the common confusion between Cobra, Chaturanga and Upward Facing Dog.
We will also address the common issue of "stepping up and stepping back" from Downward Facing Dog.
Actively learn the physical and energetic alignment structure of poses and work together with a partner to correct and assist each others form.
We will go over the following poses included in Sun Salutations/Vinyasa: Mountain pose, forward fold/flat back, plank, chaturanga/cobra, upward dog, downward dog and warrior 1.
This is a fun and easy way to learn as we feel, see and understand the structure of poses. Learn how to use props for support when needed, and how or when to safely advance in yoga practice. This information is valuable to all level students, and a good starting place for beginners.
*Class will begin with a short warm up and end with "feel good" partner stretches. We will also move through a short vinyasa flow to practice what we learned!
