COME HOME TO YOURSELF

* IN STUDIO * Yoga for Beginners

This class is taught by:

Gina Cerbone

Gina Cerbone, 200 E-RYT, began her yogic journey in 2010 as she developed a strong connection to her Vinyasa practice which led her to a teacher training program with Delia Quigley and Denise Kay in July 2012.
For Gina, the Vinyasa quality of "moving mediation," coupled with her daily seated meditation, allows her to center herself when her world feels out of balance and lacking in stillness. Gina feels that Yoga has opened her eyes to see the person within, who she really is. Her practice helped her to find herself at a time when she felt lost. Gina believes that human nature is an important aspect of teaching yoga and a path to gain insight into others as well as one’s self by giving and receiving (sharing) the gift of yoga.

Gina has studied with the following teachers Doug Swensen and Kino MacGregor. She continues to grow and learn from teachers, workshops, and, as a life-long learner, her own self-study.

She has completed trainings and certifications in Yin Yoga, Chair yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. She continues to grow as she completes her Advanced 300 Hour Teacher Training with Nancy Candea.

Gina holds her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Saint Joseph’s University. She has completed her Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition (Cum Laude) at New York Chiropractic College in 2017.

She started her own business in nutrition called Spoonful of OM and guides in giving power back to the individual. She uses her many talents and works with her clients to introduce three main modalities to help them feel empowered happy and healthy; yoga, customized nutrition consultation, and essential oils.

Amy Aanonsen

Amy Aanonsen, 200RYT, completed her Teacher Training in 2015 from Boundless Yoga Studio in Stroudsburg, PA. Amy has been practicing yoga since 2005 and was originally attracted to a vigorous Vinyasa practice which she still enjoys, however she found the gentler forms of practice enable her to deeply connect with her softer side and greet the world with gentle strength.
Amy has worked with the elderly and disabled for over 25 years, and has been in service of raising puppies for The Seeing Eye; these experiences have helped her to live in the present.
In addition, Amy holds her B.S. in Psychology, and an M.A. in Behavioral Science.
Her desire is to help students connect with their true self and receive all life has to offer as a lesson through the practice of yoga presented with acceptance, humor and gentle spirituality.

Rachel Stine

Rachel Stine, E-RYT 500, Thai massage therapist, reiki master.

Rachel started her yoga journey in college where she quickly fell in love with the physical practice. In 2010, Rachel lost her brother to a drunk driver and she delved deeper into the practice of yoga; both physically, mentally, and emotionally. She completed her 200 hour certification in the Pocono's in 2010. In 2017, she completed her 500 hour teacher training at Kripalu in Massachusetts.

Rachel also holds her BS in early childhood, elementary, and special education from East Stroudsburg University. She is currently working towards her masters in education.

She loves working with children of all ages and introducing them to yoga. Rachel holds additional yoga certifications in Prenatal, kids, yin, restorative, meditation, Kripalu vinyasa, and is a reiki master.

She is also a Thai massage therapist.
In addition to teaching, Rachel loves to learn and has studied with Kino MacGregor, Seane Corn, Tao Porchon-Lynch, Jason Crandell, Tymi Howard, Michelle Dalbec, Sudhir Jonathan Faust, Coby Kozlowski, and Sudha Carolyn Lee. When Rachel’s not only her mat, you can find her
spending time with her husband, two daughters, one son, and three dogs. They enjoy hiking, exploring, and traveling.

Jamie Sullivan

Jamie Sullivan began a curious exploration in the practice of yoga in 2008 as she experienced the pleasant and unexpected transformation toward deeper compassion, patience, and self- control. Naturally she felt inclined to share this knowledge with others and she received her 200 CYT from The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem, PA.

In her classes, Jamie encourages her students to be expressive in their practice in a way that feels authentic to them. Taking time to dig deep within a pose, connect to their breath and make each practice their very own. In addition, Jamie feels most at home on the beach, and also enjoys gardening.

Yoga continues to be a source of inward and outward exploration and balance in her everyday life.

Karen Iracane

In 2012, Karen Iracane was a busy working mom in search of a way to unwind at the end of a hectic day. A dancer since the age of four, she participated in her first yoga class at a dance studio, slept like a log that night, and was immediately hooked.
As she made the move from dancer to yogi, her practice provided her with the opportunity to experience an array of yoga’s physical and emotional benefits. After 5 years, with encouragement from one of her teachers, she completed the 200-RYT hour teacher training program at Boundless Yoga Studio.

Taking inspiration from her dance background, Karen’s style incorporates stretching and gentle flow, combining breath with movement. Her humor and gentle encouragement provide a relaxed environment for all students. She believes everyone should leave class feeling content.

When she’s not on her mat, Karen enjoys reading, cooking, dining al fresco, shopping in downtown Stroudsburg, and spending time with her husband and son.

Mary Ellen Valenti

Mary Ellen began her Yoga practice as a way to restore balance to her body and mind after vigorous exercise and sports. It became clear how yoga was beneficial in this process. Her yoga journey continued as a personal practice, until her fitness and personal training clients asked her if she would teach them yoga.

Mary Ellen’s initial certification was through Yogafit (YogaFit is the largest yoga school in North America. Best known for our safe and inclusive approach). She then went on to obtain her 250 hours certification from Boundless Yoga Studio.

Her favorite type of class is any yoga class! Mary Ellen is certified as a Personal Trainer and has worked throughout the Tristate area. When you attend her class you are welcome no matter what your level. She will always encourage students to have fun, while keeping your health and well being at the top of your priorities.

Courtney Czachor

Hi! I’m Courtney and I’ve been practicing yoga since 2014. I am a Yoga Alliance Certified E-RYT 500. I attained my 200hr Yoga Teaching Certification from The Yoga Loft in 2017. I then pursued my 300hr advanced training with My Vinyasa Practice under the guidance of Michelle Young in 2020. I live in Albrightsville, PA with my husband and our pug named Cleo! Ever since yoga found me in college, I’ve been practicing ever since. I think the most important thing in yoga is to trust yourself and be patient with your body. My goal is to create a playful, safe and joyous practice where my students can explore and be curious, build strength on and off the mat, break down boundaries and start living more fully. My teaching style is gentle yet strong, authentic and non-judgmental. I want my students to feel confident both on and off the mat. My classes offer a welcoming space to soften, become present, and explore. I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. In my eyes Yoga isn't just about the moves you do on the mat, but it's the feeling you get when you leave your mat!
This class provides a good starting place and solid direction for beginner and practicing students seeking guidance and experience with yoga basics. Including hands-on assistance and individual attention through poses, proper alignment, fundamental breathing techniques and meditation; students will learn to link breath with movement, and how to transition from one pose to another seamlessly while gaining familiarity with common yoga terms, names of basic poses, and understanding class etiquette.
The use of props will be encouraged as students learns to correctly self assess personal restrictions for safety, efficiency and confidence in moving forward into the beautiful journey of mind, body, spirit through yoga.

*Suitable for individuals new to yoga or with little experience.
