Nikol Kallinteris

Nikoleta Kallinteris is the Founder & Director of Yoga House Stroudsburg Inc., 2011.
She began her yogic journey in 2006 through the practice of Ashtanga Yoga.

A longtime practioner and guide, she incorporates ancient spiritual tools such as yoga, breathwork, meditation and sound resonance to unify movement with stillness, and to bond the physical and spiritual elements of life. A seeker at heart, Nikol is a loving friend of the earth and follows the Tao of universal harmony.


Nikol has studied with some of our great teachers; Jennifer Allen, Chris Loebsack, Glenda Dawson, Manju Jois, Paulie Zink, Doug Swensen, Tao Porchon, Jason Ray Brown, Sean Corne, and Kino MacGregor. Into the future she plans to advance her studies and experience in the ancient roots of the 8 limbs of yoga.


Credentials: 500 E-RYT Certification in Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teacher/ASFYT 1-3. Third Degree Usui Reiki Practitioner. BA Communications/Psychology.


Nikol Kallinteris instructs the following:
  • VINYASA FLOW * Level 2
  • In this class we will move through sun salutations combined with longer held poses to build strength and create more space in body and mind. Pose variations will be offered for more advanced yogis. This class is not restricted to advanced practitioners, and is suitable for all levels who are seeking a challenging practice.

  • This class moves slowly and gently through yoga poses; combining a mild flow with restorative poses and yin (stretching) poses, and sometimes incorporating chair and wall yoga depending on the needs of the group. Meditation (inward reflection) and pranayama (breath work) are also a part of this class to assist in the journey of finding stillness and awareness of the moment. This class invites you into a peaceful environment to Rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit, and find deep inner peace.
    *This class is suitable for students of all levels; including those who are working with injuries or physical restrictions.

  • This class unites ujjayi breath with continuous movement to create vinyasa flow. The breath-synchronized movement includes a variety of poses smoothly transitioning from one asana into the next both quickly and slowly, allowing for a relaxing, invigorating, meditative and reviving total body muscular and cardio work out. The student can expect to build internal heat, increase heart rate and oxygen consumption, sweat and release toxins, while building strength, flexibility and endurance. Vinyasa flow is an overall physical and mental work out (a moving meditation) as the student learns to discover peace in the midst of challenge…this state of mind is known as “yoga bliss” or “the yoga zone.”
    *This class is suitable for ambitious beginner students as well as practicing yogis.

  • The mellow flow class offers a beautiful combination of beginner to intermediate poses inviting students of all levels into a tranquil environment which serves to restore, strengthen and tone the body while soothing the mind and nourishing the spirit.
    *This class is suitable for students of all levels.

  • Prepare to challenge yourself as we move through deeper expression of poses. We will use static and dynamic movement to build and release energy, and to create the intense heat that fuels the powerful inner flame. Fire is the element of transformation, both creative and destructive; holding the power to shift your perceived limitations by burning off negative energy while encouraging your strength and endurance to come forth and guide you into the blissful light that you are.

    **Not recommended for beginner students.

  • Together we will flow through a vinyasa practice balanced with stretching to attain a state of deep inner harmony and total body wellness.
